Policy
Last updated: August 25, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how NarraTwin uses cookies and similar browser
storage on narratwin.com. It should be read with our
Privacy Policy.
Cookies are small pieces of data stored by your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, can remember a preference without sending it with every request.
NarraTwin currently uses only technologies needed for authentication, security, language, and interface preferences.
| Category | Purpose | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|
| Authentication and session cookies | Keep you signed in, validate sessions, and protect authenticated pages | Normally up to 7 days and may be renewed during use |
NEXT_LOCALE | Remember whether you selected English or Chinese | Session or browser-controlled duration |
sidebar_state | Remember whether the workspace sidebar is open | Up to 7 days |
| Theme preference storage | Remember light, dark, or system appearance | Until you change it or clear browser storage |
| Cloudflare Turnstile security storage | Distinguish legitimate requests from automated abuse when a challenge is enabled | Provider-controlled and limited to security purposes |
Our hosting and security providers also process normal request metadata such as IP address, user agent, time, and requested URL. That server-side processing is described in our Privacy Policy and does not necessarily place a cookie in your browser.
We do not currently use:
Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights are currently disabled. If we later enable non-essential analytics, advertising, or similar technologies, we will update this Policy and request consent where required before those technologies load.
Cloudflare Turnstile may run on sign-in or public forms to prevent fraud and automated abuse. Cloudflare may process device and request signals and may use strictly necessary cookies or similar technologies. See Cloudflare's Cookie documentation and Privacy Policy.
Google sign-in takes place on Google's service. Cookies already set by Google are controlled by Google and governed by Google's own policies; they are not NarraTwin advertising cookies.
You can review, delete, or block cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Blocking authentication, session, language, or security storage may prevent sign-in, change language behavior, reset interface preferences, or make protected features unavailable.
Because the technologies listed above are necessary to provide requested features or protect the Service, NarraTwin does not currently display a separate optional-cookie preference panel. If optional cookies are introduced, we will provide appropriate controls where required by law.
We may update this Policy when browser storage practices, providers, or legal requirements change. The latest version and update date will be published on this page.
For questions about cookies or browser storage, email support@narratwin.com or use our contact page.
