These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of
narratwin.com and the NarraTwin services, applications, and features
(collectively, the "Service"). By signing in, uploading content, or otherwise
using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service is offered under the NarraTwin brand. Questions about these Terms may be sent to support@narratwin.com.
You must be able to form a binding agreement under the laws that apply to you. The Service is not directed to children under 13. If you are below the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms and supervise your use where required by law.
If you use the Service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
NarraTwin helps article creators build a consistent visual character from authorized reference material, analyze article structure, plan illustration positions, and generate article illustrations. Features may use third-party AI models and may change as the Service develops.
AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, unexpected, offensive, or similar to content generated for other users. NarraTwin does not guarantee that an output is unique, factually correct, suitable for a specific publication, or eligible for intellectual-property protection. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on, publishing, or distributing it. The Service is not legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.
Production accounts use Google sign-in. You must provide accurate information, keep your Google account secure, and promptly notify us of suspected misuse. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by our breach of applicable duties.
Do not share, sell, transfer, or create accounts to evade restrictions, obtain promotional credits repeatedly, or abuse the Service. We may apply rate limits, verification, credit controls, or other safeguards.
"Your Content" includes reference photos, character artwork, profile images, article text, titles, instructions, feedback, and other material you submit. You retain the rights you have in Your Content.
You grant NarraTwin a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, limited license to host, copy, format, transmit, analyze, and modify Your Content solely as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the user-facing Service and to produce the outputs you request. This license permits us to provide necessary content to the service providers described in our Privacy Policy. It does not permit NarraTwin to sell Your Content or publish private workspace content in a public gallery. The license ends when the relevant content is deleted, subject to reasonable deletion processing, backups, legal obligations, and the limited retention described in our Privacy Policy.
You represent that:
Do not submit confidential information belonging to another person or organization unless you are authorized to do so.
As between you and NarraTwin, and to the extent permitted by applicable law, NarraTwin does not claim ownership of the generated output created for you. Your ability to own, register, publish, or commercially use AI-generated output may depend on applicable law, the rights in your inputs, and third-party model terms.
You are solely responsible for checking output for infringement, required attribution, factual errors, sensitive material, and suitability for your use. Outputs may not be represented as authentic photographs or statements of a real person where that would be deceptive or unlawful.
Some AI operations require credits. Before an operation, the Service may show an estimated or fixed credit cost and reserve or deduct credits when processing starts. If an eligible operation fails before useful processing is completed, the Service may automatically refund the applicable credits. Certain failures may require reconciliation before a refund is visible.
Promotional and registration credits:
Registration credits currently expire 30 days after grant. Deleting an account forfeits unused credits. We may reverse credits obtained through fraud, duplicate accounts, technical exploitation, or violation of these Terms.
Paid checkout is not currently offered to the public. If paid plans or credit packages are enabled later, the price, currency, billing period, renewal terms, refund eligibility, and payment provider will be disclosed before purchase. Additional payment terms presented at checkout will form part of these Terms.
You may not use the Service to:
We may investigate suspected violations and remove content, limit features, suspend tasks, reverse improperly obtained credits, or suspend or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary.
The Service, including its software, interface, branding, documentation, original templates, and compilation, is owned by NarraTwin or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. They do not transfer ownership of the Service or NarraTwin marks.
Feedback may be used by us without restriction or payment, provided we do not identify you publicly without permission.
The Service depends on third-party hosting, authentication, storage, email, and AI providers. Their availability and data practices are outside our direct control and are subject to their terms. We may replace providers or models when reasonably necessary for security, reliability, cost, or product quality.
We aim to provide a reliable Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent availability. AI tasks may be delayed or fail because of model providers, network conditions, moderation, capacity, or other factors. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features and may impose reasonable usage limits. Where practical, we will give notice of a material discontinuation that affects stored user content.
You are responsible for downloading outputs you need and maintaining your own copies of important source material and exports.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created security or legal risk, failed to pay an amount due after paid features are introduced, or used the Service in a way that could harm users, providers, or NarraTwin.
When circumstances permit, we will provide notice and an opportunity to appeal through support. Immediate action may be taken for serious abuse, security threats, unlawful content, or urgent legal requirements.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and warranties arising from course of dealing. We do not warrant that generated output will be accurate, unique, lawful for every intended use, or free from third-party claims.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NarraTwin will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, goodwill, data, or business opportunity, arising from the Service or generated output.
For free use of the Service, NarraTwin's aggregate liability for claims arising from the Service will not exceed USD 50. If you later purchase a paid service, our aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of USD 50 or the amount you paid to NarraTwin for that service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Before starting formal proceedings, please contact support@narratwin.com and describe the issue so we can try to resolve it. These Terms are governed by applicable law, including mandatory consumer protections and dispute rights in your place of residence where they cannot be waived.
We may update these Terms as the Service changes. The updated Terms will be posted with a new date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice where reasonably practicable or legally required. Changes apply prospectively unless law requires otherwise. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
